NET-WORK-MARKETING & Sales

Perhaps a more appropriate name for the industry would be network marketing & sales. I would hate to point out the obvious, but if you represent a Multi-Level Marketing Company (MLM), you are in the business of sales. I feel the sooner we accept this reality the better.

Net: We are in the 21st Century. The most obvious place to cast your marketing net is on 'The Net!' If you are not promoting your mlm business on the Internet, you are missing out on a huge slice of the marketing pie.

It may seem overwhelming at first, but with the right help and study, you will have a sparkling shop front, in a prime location, in the BIGGEST SHOPPING MALL IN HISTORY!

Work: When I first came into the network marketing industry, I was sold on the illusion that I would only need to bring two people into the business and help them do the same.

After that, it would be matter of waiting for the commission checks to roll in while drinking out of a coconut in the Bahamas. I am not sure where I went wrong, the last time I checked it takes a considerable amount of work. I could be making things hard on myself, however, I believe any legitimate network marketing opportunity requires work.

Marketing: This is something that as a mlm distributor, you seemingly have little or no control over. Most companies have policies against you doing your own creative marketing for their product. Leave it to them, they insist. Yeah right!

There are ways around this issue and in fact, you as an individual can be more effective in this area than the company you represent. The key phrase here is 'You As An Individual'. Sales: Marketing and sales should hand in hand. Sales is where the personal relations aspect of this business comes into play. If your marketing has done it's job correctly, the potential customer/business partner has found you. When someone finds you rather than you chasing them, it sets up a very different and positive dynamic.

A person that has found you is coming to you in an 'open to buy frame of mind.' The sales process becomes a recommendation of a product or service which best fits their individual needs.
